Based on the diary and poems of Hannah Senesh, the play tells the true story of the martyred young Hungarian/Jewish WW2 freedom fighter, the first woman to be a paratrooper. After helping to build a Jewish State in Palestine, she parachuted behind Nazi lines to save her fellow Jews. Hannah has been called “The Joan of Arc” of Israel.
